EPIC ENDURANCE CIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Epic Endurance CIC, in these terms and conditions, will be referred to as the “Event Organizers.” These terms and conditions apply to all participants who register to take part in an event organized by Epic Endurance CIC. In these terms and conditions, participants will also be referred to as “You.”

1. You agree that you are the person entering the event and that you are not making the entry on behalf of another person.

2. By registering for the event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. All participants must be over 18 years of age.

4. You are responsible for reading the details and description regarding the event, which are contained on the event website, and any other information that may be sent to you by the Event Organizers. You agree that you clearly understand the ability required and what is entailed in participating in the event.

5. The registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. The Event Organizers' refund policy is as follows: Any event entry cancellation received by email at events@epicendurance.co.uk more than 14 days prior to the event date will receive a 50% refund or transfer of the entry fee towards another of the Event Organizers' events (a £10 transfer fee applies). Only emailed cancellations are acceptable. Cancellations made within the last 14 days before the event start date will not be eligible for any refund or transfer.

6. You agree that your entry is non-transferable and that the Event Organizers will not accept any individual taking your entry to the event.

7. If any details provided by you on your registration form change, you must notify the Event Organizers immediately by emailing events@epicendurance.co.uk.

8. The Event Organizers reserve the right to cancel your participation in the event if any information provided by you is found to be inaccurate in any way. In this case, you will be refunded your entry fee minus 20% for administration costs.

9. You agree that if issued, GPS data (from the issued GPS Tracker) of your movements from the moment of issue at the event will be displayed and recorded. This data will be available to be recalled after the event in the public domain.

10. Please note that all arrangements for the event, including the venue, date, and programme, may be subject to change. Any changes will be notified to you by email. You will not hold the Event Organizers liable for any costs incurred by you due to any change in arrangements for the event.

11. You are responsible for ensuring that you have taken your own medical advice and that you are medically fit and healthy. You should undertake appropriate training and preparation to participate in the event.

12. You are responsible for taking out suitable personal insurance cover for your participation in the event.

13. You agree that you participate in the event at your own risk and accept that the Event Organizers cannot be liable, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any personal injury sustained by you or for loss or damage to any personal property as a result of your participation in the event.

14. You must abide by any instructions for participation in the event that may be notified to you by the Event Organizers or the venue owners at any point leading up to or during the event.

15. You must show respect and courtesy towards other participants and spectators. If you behave in any manner that is, in the Event Organizers' opinion, poor sportsmanship or poses a risk to the safety of any other participant, spectator, or anyone else in attendance at the event, this may result in your disqualification from the event and removal from the venue.

16. You are responsible for the safekeeping of your own personal possessions and those of any spectators you may bring to the event. Personal possessions left unattended at the venue or in any facilities provided are left entirely at your own risk.

17. The Event Organizers are not responsible for any third-party organizations that may be providing other services at the event. You use any such services at your own risk.

18. You agree that if access to the published course is restricted for any reason, an alternative route will be used.

19. If the event has to be postponed for any reason, the Event Organizers will endeavor to arrange an alternative event, and you will be notified of the new date and venue of the rearranged event. These terms and conditions will continue to apply to the rearranged event. No refund will be given if you do not wish to participate in the rearranged event. Any expenses incurred by you will not be refunded if the event is rescheduled.

20. If the event has to be canceled, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus a 20% deduction to cover administration costs.

21. You agree to photographs and videos being taken at the event and that any images of you may be used by the Event Organizers in any media regarding the event and to market and advertise the event or any other similar events.

22. By registering, you are agreeing to the use of any data provided by the Event Organizers to contact you regarding other events.

23. You agree that once you have been issued your timing chip or GPS Tracker, you are responsible for it. You agree to pay a sum of £80 on invoice if you do not return your timing chip or GPS Tracker at the finish of the event.
